In order to implement the requirements of the notice of the general office of the General Administration of quality supervision, inspection and Quarantine of the people's Republic of China and the general office of the State Administration of work safety on promoting the application of safety monitoring and management system in some large-scale cranes and continuing to carry out the demonstration pilot work (zzbtl [2013] No. 5), and do a good job in the inspection of the safety monitoring and management system of large-scale cranes, Our bureau has drawn up the items, contents, methods and requirements of the safety monitoring and management system for cranes (for Trial Implementation) and the list of inspection items of the safety monitoring and management system for cranes (Annexes 1 and 2). The relevant requirements are hereby notified as follows:

1、 Since July 1, 2013, the safety monitoring and management system of all bridge erecting machines and shipbuilding gantry cranes has been inspected in accordance with the requirements of the quality inspection office special Union [2013] No. 5 and this notice;

2、 The safety monitoring and management system of 200 ton and above general portal cranes, 60 ton and above port, shipyard and power station portal cranes, 2000 ton and above general and power station tower cranes, 450 ton and above crawler cranes and cable cranes under trial shall be inspected in accordance with the requirements of the quality inspection office special Union [2013] No. 5 and this notice.

After receiving this notice, all geological supervision departments are requested to forward it to the inspection and testing institutions of special equipment within their jurisdiction as soon as possible. All inspection and testing institutions shall combine the existing inspection specifications, refine the requirements, carry out the work seriously, and report the problems found in the implementation to our Bureau in a timely manner.
