(correspondent Gao Tian) on the morning of June 11, the discussion meeting for Soliciting Opinions on GB / T 28264-2012 safety monitoring and management system for cranes was successfully held in Yichang City, Hubei Province. The meeting was hosted by the National Technical Committee for standardization of lifting machinery and undertaken by Yichang Weite Electronic Equipment Co., Ltd. The meeting gathered more than 30 experts from lifting machinery research institutes and industry leading enterprises across the country to put forward opinions and discuss the formulation of GB / T 28264-2012 safety monitoring and management system for cranes.

Zhao Chunhui, Secretary General of the National Technical Committee for standardization of lifting machinery, presided over the meeting. Zhang Xiaolin, director of Yichang Bureau of quality and technology supervision, and Nie Daojing, chairman of Yichang Weite Electronic Equipment Co., Ltd., made welcome speeches.

Shang Hong, director of the special equipment safety supervision bureau of the General Administration of quality supervision, inspection and Quarantine of the people's Republic of China, first made an important explanation on the formulation of the safety monitoring and management system for cranes. This meeting will mainly discuss the collection of opinions on GB / T 28264-2012 safety monitoring and management system for lifting appliances and discuss the principles and time schedule for determining the revision.

During the implementation of GB / T 28264-2012 safety monitoring and management system for hoisting machinery in the past three years, it has provided important technical basis for the research, development and test verification of safety monitoring and management system for hoisting machinery, but some problems have also been found. For this reason, the National Technical Committee for the standardization of lifting machinery has extensively solicited opinions from the members of the Standardization Committee and relevant units in April 2015.

PS: GB / T 28264-2012 safety monitoring and management system for lifting appliances was organized and formulated by the National Technical Committee for standardization of lifting machinery in 2011 under the entrustment of the General Administration of quality supervision, inspection and Quarantine of the people's Republic of China and the General Administration of work safety. The standard was officially approved and issued on May 11, 2012 and formally implemented on July 1, 2012.
