The 2023 Work Conference and Summit Forum of the Logistics Engineering Branch of the Chinese Society of Mechanical Engineering for the Lifting Machinery Discipline was grandly held in Nanchang, Jiangxi from November 10th to 12th, 2023. The expert representatives attending this meeting came from national research institutes, host enterprises, component manufacturers, inspection institutions, user units, etc.

This meeting was presided over by Professor Xu Gening from Taiyuan University of Science and Technology and gave a work explanation for the year 2022-2023. Ji Kai from the Logistics Engineering Branch of the China Mechanical Engineering Society conveyed the guiding spirit of the higher-level society.

This meeting held a special technical report on the "Intelligent, Digital, and Safe Progress" Summit Forum for Lifting Machinery, including Cao Xuyang from Dalian University of Technology's "Research on Intelligent Weight Vehicles for Mobile Crane Lifting Capacity Testing" and Yu Lin from Jiangxi Gongbu Machinery Co., Ltd.'s "Application and Development of Permanent Magnet Direct Drive Technology in the Crane Industry" Liu Zhiping from Wuhan University of Technology conducted comprehensive technical exchanges and heated discussions on the safety evaluation methods of metal structure intelligent sensing films and multi-dimensional integration, Huang Haishan from Guangzhou Crane Machinery Co., Ltd. explored and practiced the digital manufacturing of cranes, and Lan Jiangsong from Franck Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. applied intelligent lifting machines in digital chemical plants. All attending representatives received great inspiration, I sincerely admire the achievements of technological innovation made by various enterprises in the industry.
