From May 18th to 19th, 2023, two national standard promotion and implementation meetings were successfully held in Yichang, Hubei, hosted by the National Standardization Technical Committee for Lifting Machinery (hereinafter referred to as the "Standardization Committee") and organized by Micro Special Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Micro Special Technology"). 

More than 120 representatives from across the country engaged in the design, manufacturing, installation, maintenance, use, inspection, and testing of cranes and hooks participated in the publicity and implementation meeting. Wang Shunting, Secretary General of the Standardization Committee and Deputy General Manager of Beijing Crane Transport Machinery Design and Research Institute Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Beiqi Institute"), Ding Qingrong, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the Yichang Municipal People's Congress and Secretary of the Party Group of the Yichang Economic and Information Technology Bureau, Lei Xun, Member of the Party Working Committee and Vice Chairman of the Management Committee of Yichang High tech Zone, and Nie Daojing, Chairman of Weite Technology, attended the meeting.

The meeting was chaired by Lin Fukui, Minister of Standards Work Department of Beiqi Institute. At the opening ceremony of the meeting, Wang Shunting, Secretary General of the Standardization Committee and Deputy General Manager of Beiqi Institute, Ding Qingrong, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the Yichang Municipal People's Congress and Secretary of the Party Group of the Yichang Economic and Information Bureau, delivered speeches, and Nie Daojing, Chairman of Weite Technology, delivered a welcoming speech.

Wang Shunting, Secretary General of the Standardization Committee and Deputy General Manager of Beiqi Institute, conveyed important instructions and spiritual connotations of the Party Central Committee and the State Council on standardization work in his speech. He introduced the achievements and honors of domestic and international standardization work for lifting machinery in China, pointed out the purpose and significance of convening this meeting, and made some suggestions for this meeting.

After the opening ceremony, the teaching of national standard promotion and implementation will officially begin. The main lecturer of this promotion and implementation meeting will give the following lectures in sequence:

1. Associate Professor Wang Xin from Dalian University of Technology provided a detailed explanation and case analysis on the process and ideas of preparing the standard "General Requirements for Safety Assessment of Crane Equipment", as well as the interpretation and application of the main text and appendix.

2. Gu Cuiyun, a professor level senior engineer at Taiyuan Heavy Industry Co., Ltd., interpreted the working process and preparation ideas of the standard "General Rules for Crane Design - Ultimate State and Capacity Verification of Forged Steel Hook", as well as the interpretation and application of the main text and appendix. He analyzed the differences between other standards.

3. Li Jun, Senior Engineer of Taiyuan Heavy Industry Co., Ltd., introduced the selection of crane forging hooks, verification load values, and fatigue strength verification calculation cases.

4. Lin Weiguo, senior engineer of the National Quality Inspection and Testing Center for Hoisting and Transportation Machinery, introduces the cases of crane accidents in China and the analysis of hazard

5. Gao Yumin, Senior Engineer of Weite Technology Co., Ltd., introduces new technologies, methods, and development trends in intelligent operation and maintenance management of cranes.

This promotion and implementation meeting has provided industry professionals with a clearer understanding and understanding of the content of the standards through precise explanations from experts. This has enabled relevant personnel engaged in the design, manufacturing, installation, maintenance, use, inspection, and testing of cranes and hooks to have a clear understanding of the standard preparation process, technical content, as well as the latest design concepts and modern design methods. This has laid a solid foundation for promoting the implementation of the two standards and successfully concluded the publicity and implementation meeting.
