From the large-scale smart city and safe city projects to the smaller intelligent transportation, park monitoring, scenic spot monitoring, even the building monitoring at home, the electronic police after going out, the illegal monitoring, and even the special monitoring under some mines, it can be said that the monitoring system has been everywhere around us.
Now, in combination with the production practice I participated in (such as construction sites in Jiangjin, Chongqing, Tongshan, Xuzhou, Nanzhang, Xiangyang, etc.), some theoretical examples of system installation are introduced:
Network camera, hard disk video recorder NVR, switch (it needs to be adjusted according to the number of cameras and code rate, and the supplier's recommendations can be adopted), hard disk, display, network cable, power sheath cable, power adapter (or 12V DC switching power supply), camera bracket, network cable crystal head, etc.
Installation principle:
When the front-end camera is in normal operation, the video signal captured will be transmitted to the hard disk video recorder in the background through the network cable and switch for preview and storage. The specific connection methods are different according to the different points of the monitoring system. See Step 3 below for the specific connection diagram.
Installation steps:
Step 1:
Determine the installation position and monitoring area of the camera, and fix the camera to the building or pole frame through the camera bracket.
Step 2:
Determine the placement position of the background equipment (hard disk video recorder and display), install and place the hard disk of the hard disk video recorder, and prepare the power plug for the background equipment.
Step 3:
After the front and rear ends are completed, the wiring is required (if the planning or scheme is made in the early stage, this step is actually a priority, especially in the environment where the decoration is prepared, the pipeline needs to be embedded). The line is divided into two parts: first, confirm the position of the switch, connect each camera to the switch through the network cable, and connect the network hard disk video recorder (NVR) to the switch. In order to facilitate the wiring Follow the principle of safety, and make crystal heads at both ends of each network cable; Secondly, the camera power supply line wiring. Each camera needs a 12V / 1A or 2A power adapter. Depending on the construction environment or cost requirements, it can be replaced by a switching power supply (it is recommended that a 12V / 10A switching power supply should not carry more than 10 cameras, and so on). It needs to be equipped with a power plug. In addition, according to the different points of the monitoring system, the connection mode is different.
Framework 1: small works at 1-8 points
For small-scale projects at 1-8 points, ordinary 100m switches can be directly used to build the network environment. If 2 million pixel IPC is adopted, the code stream is calculated at 6Mbps, the bandwidth occupied by 8 cameras is 8 * 6 = 48m, and the actual utilization rate of 100m switch is 50% - 70%, i.e. 50-70m, which can fully meet the transmission requirements of 8 IPC.
Framework II: small and medium-sized projects with 9-50 points
For small and medium-sized projects with 9-50 points, it is not enough to only use 100m switches. It needs a layer-2 full Gigabit switch with higher performance as convergence to ensure smooth transmission of video information.
Structure III: large and medium-sized projects with more than 50 points
For medium and large-scale projects with more than 50 points, three-layer network architecture is required: access layer, aggregation layer and core layer. At the same time, due to the large number of points, the performance requirements of the core layer switches are high. Generally, in this case, the three-layer full Gigabit core switches of well-known manufacturers such as Huawei or H3C should be selected (the familiar Pulian series is not recommended).
Step 4:
Debug the camera. After the installation is completed and all lines are connected, power up the camera. It is necessary to set relevant network settings on the network hard disk video recorder (NVR) and add and distribute network cameras (the configuration methods of different manufacturers are different). In this way, after all cameras are added, images will be seen, and the angle and adjustable lens of the camera can be adjusted to the appropriate effect.
matters needing attention:
The relevant settings of the network hard disk video recorder, such as video recording and image color, need to be manually set, and can be operated according to the instructions of the purchased equipment. Such a network monitoring system is completed.
