A few days ago, the office of the work safety management committee of the Ministry of housing and urban rural development issued the special rectification work plan for preventing collapse accidents of construction cranes and scaffolds (hereinafter referred to as the plan).

It is decided to continue to carry out in-depth special rectification work to prevent collapse accidents of construction hoisting machinery, scaffold and formwork support system in the whole country in four stages from this month, further implement the main responsibility of the enterprise for safe production, timely eliminate potential safety hazards at the construction site, and effectively prevent and contain collapse accidents of construction hoisting machinery, scaffold and formwork support system.

According to the plan, the housing construction and municipal infrastructure projects will be renovated this time, including the implementation of safety production responsibilities of relevant units and the employment of relevant personnel with certificates. The rectification work will be carried out in four stages: deployment and start before the end of June, self inspection and self correction from July to September, inspection and supervision from October to mid November, and summary and analysis from late November to December. The Ministry of housing and urban rural development will, on the basis of local inspections, timely supervise the special rectification work in some areas.

The "plan" requires that all localities should strengthen leadership and make careful arrangements; Highlight key points and seek practical results; We will make overall plans and advance the work in an orderly manner. It is necessary to strengthen the supervision and inspection of key areas, key enterprises and key projects where production safety accidents occur frequently, and focus on the safety management of divisional and subdivisional projects involving construction hoisting machinery, scaffolding and formwork support system with high risks. The problems and hidden dangers found shall be rectified one by one within a time limit; If the hidden danger treatment and rectification are not effective, especially those causing accidents, they shall be severely investigated and dealt with according to law.
