Recently, three lifting machinery enterprises in Hengshui and Shijiazhuang of Hebei Province came to Hebei special equipment supervision and Inspection Institute (hereinafter referred to as Hebei special inspection institute) to invite inspectors to conduct type tests on their products. When the three enterprises became the first group to invite, they also announced that the national quality inspection center of lifting machinery set up in the Institute was officially "opened for business". So far, Hebei special inspection institute has initially invested more than 7.5 million yuan to build two large-scale test platforms, namely 150t electric hoist type test platform and 350t static tension component detection device, which have become the largest tonnage and most advanced experimental device among similar devices in China, and have officially "taken up their posts".

According to Gao Zengming, President of Hebei special inspection institute, in recent years, with the economic development of Hebei Province, especially the rapid development of the equipment manufacturing industry and the iron and steel metallurgy industry, the research and development of new products of enterprises has been continuously strengthened, which will inevitably increase the demand for type tests of lifting machinery. The Hebei provincial government attaches great importance to the construction of quality supervision and technical inspection institutions in the province, and gives corresponding preferential policies and financial support to the construction of technical institutions in terms of land and funds.

It is reported that the 150t electric hoist test bench jointly developed by Hebei special inspection institute and Shenyang Railway Group Co., Ltd. fully meets the requirements of tsgq7012-2008 detailed rules for type test of light and small crane equipment, and has become the largest test bench among domestic type test institutions and electric hoist manufacturers. The institute cooperates with the Institute of marine technology and marine engineering of Zhejiang University to develop a 350t static tension component detection device, which can perform the breaking tension test analysis and load-bearing capacity verification of steel wire rope, rigging, lifting row and other steel wire rope below 350t, thus providing technical basis for safe operation of steel enterprises, offshore lifting, large equipment lifting and so on. In the domestic special equipment inspection system, the test tonnage of the device ranks first in the country. The successful research and development of this device will provide data basis for the safe lifting of molten steel and molten iron in iron and steel enterprises in Hebei Province and even in the whole country. A manager of Hebei Yili lifting machinery manufacturing Co., Ltd., located in Xushui, Baoding, said: "Although there were more than 100 lifting machinery manufacturing enterprises in our province before, we did not have the qualification for type test and manufacturing review of lifting machinery. The contradiction between the number of invited lifting machinery type test and the number of type test institutions was once prominent. In the future, we not only saved time and money, but also improved efficiency, and more effectively increased our market orders."

An expert of the Hebei Academy of social sciences who has studied the iron and steel industry said: "as a big province of iron and steel, Hebei has an annual output of more than 100 million tons. Steel is the main raw material for lifting machinery manufacturing. Vigorously developing the lifting machinery manufacturing industry can digest iron and steel on the spot, extend the iron and steel industry chain of the province, and improve the added value of iron and steel. This also provides a strong guarantee for reducing costs and improving market competitiveness for manufacturing Lifting machinery in Hebei."
