From April to may 2013, Hubei Changyang Quality Supervision Bureau cooperated with Yichang special equipment inspection institute to carry out periodic inspection on 151 lifting equipment of 39 lifting machinery equipment users within the jurisdiction, and carried out special inspection on lifting machinery equipment.

The inspection shows that most of the lifting equipment in Changyang operates normally, but there are also potential safety hazards: first, some users install lifting equipment such as crane without approval, performing legal procedures and formalities. Second, the operators of a small number of units work without certificates. Third, some users refuse periodic inspection. Fourth, some users have no safety use system and operation records. Fifth, some users have no emergency plan. Sixthly, there are some units whose maintenance is not in place, and the wire rope has broken strands and fuzzing, and there are serious safety hazards.

In view of the safety hazards and problems found in the inspection and inspection, Changyang Quality Supervision Bureau issued a safety supervision instruction notice according to law, ordering the users of lifting machinery and equipment to rectify within a time limit. The units that are not expected to rectify or not in place will be seriously investigated and dealt with in accordance with the regulations of the people's Republic of China on safety supervision of special equipment to ensure the safe operation of special equipment.
