The R2000-720 tower crane adopts the non-destructive testing system for steel wire ropes developed and produced by our company. The project has been successfully accepted recently and has played a role in the construction of the Maanshan Highway Railway Dual Use Yangtze River Bridge project.



The R2000-720 tower crane is jointly developed by Zoomlion Heavy Industry and China Communications Second Navigation Engineering Bureau. It has a rated lifting torque of 20000 tons per meter, a maximum lifting capacity of 720 tons, and a maximum lifting height of 400 meters, which is equivalent to lifting 500 small cars to a height of 130 floors at once. This product integrates 158 innovative research achievements and 305 invention patents, including more than 60 core key technologies and 12 world firsts, making it a truly important tool for a major country. It is another important achievement in the development process of advanced manufacturing in China, demonstrating the leading strength of China's tower cranes to the world.

The R2000-720 tower crane will be put into the construction of the Maanshan Highway Railway Dual Use Yangtze River Bridge project when it is offline. The Maanshan Yangtze River Bridge for both highway and railway use adopts a three tower steel truss beam cable-stayed bridge structure. The main structures undertaken by the Second Navigation Engineering Bureau of China Communications Corporation include the south main tower and the upper structure of the 1 kilometer main bridge, 114 highway and railway combined piers for the approach bridge, 12 railway beams, and 228 upper highway beams. The R2000-720 tower crane can fully meet the lifting requirements of the bridge tower steel structure, and will provide solid equipment support for project construction.
