From September 6th to 8th, the 2023 Metal Structure, Electrical, and Automation Annual Conference of the Guangxi Institute of Hydraulic and New Energy Power Generation Engineering, as well as the Exchange Seminar on Intelligent and Digital Construction of Hydropower Stations and Ship Locks, was held in Nanning, Guangxi. The theme of the conference was the intelligent and digital construction of hydropower stations and ship locks.



The conference is hosted by the Guangxi Water Conservancy and New Energy Power Generation Engineering Society, organized by China Energy Construction Group Guangxi Electric Power Design and Research Institute Co., Ltd., the Metal Structure Professional Committee of the Guangxi Hydroelectric New Energy Power Generation Engineering Society, and the Electrical and Automation Professional Committee of the Guangxi Hydroelectric and New Energy Power Generation Engineering Society. It is co organized by Weite Technology Co., Ltd., Qufu Hengwei Hydraulic Machinery Co., Ltd., and Changzhou Zhongsheng Hoisting Machinery Technology Co., Ltd. The theme of the conference is the intelligent and digital construction of hydropower stations and ship locks.


This meeting gathered over 150 hydraulic metal structure experts from local water conservancy design units, ship locks, and hydropower station owners in Guangxi. Weite Technology Co., Ltd. was fortunate to participate as a co organizer in this meeting.



Weite, as a representative attending the meeting, delivered a keynote speech on "Key Technologies and Applications for Online Monitoring and Intelligent Operation and Maintenance of Crane Metal Structures". Weite shared the important role of ultra-weak fiber optic grating sensor technology in lifting machinery and large equipment, promoting the development of ultra-weak fiber optic technology in the direction of lifting equipment fault diagnosis (predictive maintenance), big data management, full life cycle monitoring, and intelligent lifting ecosystem.



At the meeting, a new product independently developed by Weite, the hydraulic radial gate variable amplitude opening instrument, was also introduced.


Hydraulic radial gate variable amplitude opening instrument: a radial gate opening sensor based on attitude and inclination detection technology, which utilizes the motion model of the gate body rotating around the center of the support hinge point during the opening and closing process of the radial gate to measure high-precision radial gate opening signals; By using the Kalman filtering algorithm, the actual inclination angle is obtained. The angle detection resolution of the core component is 0.001 °~0.005 °, with an accuracy of 0.01 °. The calculation of the opening of the radial gate is processed and displayed by the WTG-H200 opening meter, and the current left cylinder A and right cylinder B of the gate feedback the opening values without the need for complex mathematical calculations and calibration. The opening detection value is continuous, improving measurement accuracy and linearity, with an accuracy of ± 1mm.

1. Easy installation, debugging, and maintenance, with low safety risks;

2. The installation on the gate support arm has little impact on the equipment body and is stable and reliable in use;

3. One click calibration can save a lot of debugging time;

4. The parameters of the preset gate model can be calculated independently without calibration, and there is no need for secondary calculation in the PLC.

5. Suitable for use in harsh outdoor environments, resistant to water immersion, freezing, and strong winds.


Multidimensional analysis of fault diagnosis: The system adopts analysis methods such as spectrum, time spectrum, power spectrum, envelope spectrum, resonance demodulation, impulse method, intensity spectrum, comprehensive spectrum, order spectrum, etc., organically combining various fault diagnosis technologies. Analyze no less than 40 features, and multiple algorithms have strong data analysis capabilities.



After the meeting, various hydraulic metal structure experts paid close attention to the micro special booth products and actively explored the contribution of micro special products to the intelligent and digital application of hydraulic metal structures.
