On the morning of March 16th, the Hubei Provincial Science and Technology Innovation Conference was held at the Hongshan Hall in Wuhan. At the conference, the 2022 Hubei Provincial Science and Technology Award was announced, and the "Key Technologies and Applications for State Monitoring and Intelligent Operation and Maintenance of Hydraulic Power Station Cranes" project declared by Weite won the third prize of the 2022 Science and Technology Progress Award! The Hubei Provincial Science and Technology Award is the highest award in the field of science and technology in our province, mainly rewarding scientific and technological projects that have achieved significant economic or social benefits in terms of technological invention, development, and promotion and transformation of scientific and technological achievements. More than 900 project achievements across the province participated in the competition for science and technology awards. After formal review and multiple rounds of expert evaluations between provinces and within the province, a total of 312 projects have broken through and won awards. Among them, there are 2 Science and Technology Outstanding Contribution Awards, 48 Natural Science Awards, 29 Technology Invention Awards, 208 Science and Technology Progress Awards, 10 Science and Technology Achievement Promotion Awards, and 15 Science and Technology Innovation Awards for Small and Medium sized Enterprises.
